Jo dam ghaafil, so dam kaafir

Jo dam ghaafil so dam kaafir,
Murshid eh farmaia hoo.

Any breath that one takes (or any moment that passes) in which one becomes unaware (of the Divine Beloved, Truth, Reality), is a "Kaafir" breath (that is, in that breath/moment, we have become faithless/unclean)

Suniaa sukhan gaeeaan khul akheean,
Chit maulaa wal laaiaa hoo.

Upon hearing these spiritual words from my teacher, my eyes opened and I put my heart towards God

Keetee jaan havaale Rabb de,
Aisaa ishq kamaaiaa hoo.

I surrendered my life to God, such was the love I was able to earn (That is, I earned great love in surrendering my life to God or such was the love I was blessed with that I could surrender my life to God)

Maran ton agge mar gae Baahoo,
Taan matalab noon paaiaa hoo.

(Thus) Having died (refers to surrender of ego) before death, I was able to get to the Meaning (Truth, Reality).
